Lija Wilson is an advocate for gender diversity and flexible work. Three years ago, she launched startup, Puffling to support more organisations in enabling senior level roles to be performed under flexible work arrangements.
She has worked for some of Australia’s biggest brands and businesses, with over 20 years experience in senior marketing roles, working predominately with digital remits. In 2014, AdNews awarded her a position on the Top 40 under 40 Australian marketers list. Lija is a passionate innovator and industry participant. In 2018, she was the Jury Chair for the AMY Awards, run by the Digital + Technology Collective.
Lija spent 8 years with Fairfax Media working on a number of roles including Group Marketing Director. Following this role, she relocated to Melbourne for 5 years and worked with the Qantas Group, as well as a year as the Head of Marketing for TEDx Melbourne.
Puffling has been recognised for it’s role in championing change via a number of awards, including an Anthill Smart 100 business, Future of Work Pitch winner and runner up to the St George Kickstart program last year. Lija was named a 2019 Flexible Work Day Ambassador.
